  Ordered shrimper's heaven and the breading on the 1/3 of the shrimp was soggy. When I gave the server my card to pay he gave me a coke. When I went to drink it I noticed a long dark piece of hair floating in my soda. When I talked to manager he completely dismissed my concern and implied that I put the hair in the soda, because there's no way there could be a hair in the soda. Aweful experience and felt bad for my mom whose birthday we were celebrating. So embarrassing

  Bubba Gump was honestly a pretty good experience overall. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The place was very clean, the atmosphere was fun, and the staff did a great job making everything feel welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which already puts them ahead of a lot of restaurants these days where you feel like you’re either being ignored or interrogated every five minutes. I honestly forgot exactly what food I ordered, but I do remember enjoying the meal and leaving satisfied, so that says something. Nothing really stood out in a bad way and I can’t say I have any major complaints. Service was smooth, food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the restaurant itself was well maintained and comfortable. It’s one of those places that may not completely blow your mind, but it gives you a solid experience all around. Good food, good service, clean environment, and a nice vibe. I’d definitely come back again.

  SUPER LET DOWN BY THIS PLACE- WORST SEAFOOD I have ever tried to eat! I am from NC where we KNOW and eat good FRESH seafood. The $35 salmon (with four shrimp and mashed potatoes plate) HAD TO BE FROZEN and tasted terrible!! I had to spit out the 3rd bite and left ALL the rest. The Bourbon shrimp tasted good but had most of the shells still cooked on them and were really hard to remove to eat the rest of the shrimp. (Tip: leave the fan and last link of the shell ONLY for the best customer experience.) And the drinks... we ordered a Vodka & Cranberry and a Strawberry Marguerita. Neither tasted like there was a drop of alcohol in them. My wife asked our server about it and was asked, "Do you want another one. I can make it a double?" Really?? I suppose we were being nostalgic in thinking a CA restaurant with the name "Bubba Gump's Seafood" would know anything about good 'ole southern fried shrimp from ALABAMA!!

  We had such a great experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Long Beach and a huge part of that was our server, Keilah. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk to. She made awesome recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and made sure everything came out smoothly. I ordered the “I’m Stuffed” Shrimp and it was good, and I also tried the Strawberry Frozen Margarita which was refreshing and hit the spot. You can tell she really cares about her guests having a great time. The service truly made the night memorable. If you go, definitely ask for Keilah. She’ll take great care of you!

  I had an absolutely amazing time at Bubba Gump! Our server, Ethan, was fantastic—super attentive, extremely nice, and incredibly helpful when it came to recommending what to order. He checked on us constantly and made sure we were completely taken care of the entire time. I also have to give a huge shout-out to the managers and supervisors. Honestly, the entire staff was just so friendly and welcoming. We even got to play some fun Forrest Gump trivia while we were there, which added such a great vibe to the whole experience! Before we left, Sam V. was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to make sure I had some of their delicious garlic bread to go with my leftover scampi for takeout. Every single thing about this visit was positive. The food was great, the service was top-tier, and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone!
