  Best milkshakes in town. Good burgers for fast food crinkle cut fries. Not the friendliest service but my go to spot for milkshakes. They have cereal milkshakes I recommend the Capt. Crunch milkshake.

  On Monday, we called Five Star Burger to verify whether their food was zabiha halal before placing a large order. We specifically asked if the entire menu was halal, and we were assured that it was. Based on that information, we placed a $200 order. Today, I stopped by the restaurant and asked an employee again if everything on the menu was halal. This time, I was told no—only certain items are, and I would need to ask about each item individually. I explained that we had been told on Monday that the entire menu was halal, and that this was misleading. The employee laughed and said they don’t serve pork and that it’s “just a different way of killing the animal.” I wasn’t sure exactly what he meant, but I explained that, for many Muslims, zabiha halal is an important religious requirement and shouldn’t be confused with simply not serving pork. I’m sharing this so everyone can make their own informed decision. If you’re looking specifically for zabiha halal, I encourage you to ask detailed questions yourself before ordering. Businesses should be clear and accurate when answering questions about halal, especially when members of the Muslim community rely on that information.

  Had the philly and fries. I ordered ahead. It was done and ready to go. Hot. Great fries and fried mushrooms. When I got back to my office everything was still hot. Friendly staff.
