Oh my goodness, it was sooo good, I don't know if the recipe changed but I'll be back again for sure!!! It was hot and very fresh cooked thoroughly and not over done or stale! Thank you Safeway deli!!!

While that was disappointing, I wasn’t upset because I’ve always known Safeway to have excellent customer service and expected a simple exchange. When I arrived at the store, I went to the customer service desk, but no one was there. I waited patiently until an employee named Wai suddenly yelled over from a cash register in a rude manner instead of coming over to assist me. He initially told me to come back another day rather than offering any help. I explained that I had purchased moldy butter and was only looking to exchange it for a new package. Despite this being a straightforward request, he continued to respond unprofessionally and repeatedly refused to help. I had to explain twice that I simply wanted an even exchange before he finally told me to go get another package. After swapping the butter, I returned to his register with the old package and my receipt to verify the purchase. Unfortunately, he remained rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. This experience was very disappointing because it does not reflect the level of customer service I have come to expect from Safeway. While mistakes like expired or moldy products can happen, the way customers are treated when those issues are brought to the store’s attention is what truly matters. I hope management addresses this so future customers receive the respectful service Safeway is known for.
