  I want to be clear that this review is specifically about one employee and my repeated experiences with my grocery pickup orders not the entire Vons staff. I’ve had good experiences with other employees at this location. My main concern is that items are repeatedly missing from my grocery orders when this particular female employee handles my pickup, especially during pickups around 8–10 PM. My most recent incident was yesterday September 29, 2026, between approximately 8–10 PM, and once again I discovered that items were missing from my order. This is not an isolated mistake it has happened repeatedly, which is why I believe management should look into it. When the groceries are brought out, they are simply placed down and the employee immediately walks away without communicating that the order is complete or giving me an opportunity to verify it. This makes it much harder to catch missing items at the time of pickup. The customer service attitude is also disappointing but the bigger issue is the repeated missing items and lack of attention to the order. I’m not asking for special treatment I’m asking for my paid order to actually contain the items I purchased. I’m including the date and approximate pickup time so management can identify the employee and review what happened. I hope this is taken seriously and that steps are taken to make sure grocery orders are being properly checked before they are handed to customers.

  I am writing to formally document a negative experience I encountered at the Vons location on L Street in Lancaster. Prior to entering the premises, I was subjected to unprofessional profiling by two loss prevention staff members—specifically, a young man with "wick" dreadlocks and his colleague a thicker built with a shorter haircut. Despite having not yet entered the store, I was explicitly accused of misconduct. Upon entering, I observed the two coordinating their surveillance of me. When I addressed them directly and identified them as loss prevention, their behavior ceased immediately. Due to this unprofessional conduct, I will no longer patronize this location. I trust that management will address these internal issues to ensure that future customer experiences are handled with appropriate standards of conduct.
