  The restaurant did not have a pleasant smell. It was hot as Hell… No one was present to great us, we stood at the register for 15-20 minutes. When we began to leave someone ran out and then wanted to take our order. Once order was placed we waited an additional 40 minutes, once the food the received, we were even more annoyed… the waffles were over cooked and crumbled, the chicken was fried so hard it was dry, the eggs were cold, the greens were ok I wouldn’t order then again. The apple koolaid drink tasted like vinegar. The Nipsy Blue drink was real good. This meal for 2 was a complete waste of money…Was very disappointed!

  OMG! The food is absolutely delicious. Im picky especially when it comes to soul food. Fried shrimp, greens, man&cheeses shrimp with grits. My Gawd! You will not be disappointed. We needed this in the AV!

  I seen this place on IG, so I cldnt wait to go, we were in there like 10 minutes b4 someone came out to greet us and take our order, it was hot in there(No A/C, just a giant fan blowing inside) i ordered the oxtails, which were pretty good, a tad on the salty side but good...tender, juicy, and super soft, the red beans and rice were whatever, nothing to scream about, I told the cook they were OK, the cornbread was super dry, I told the cook that as well, I only left a 5 tip seeing as we drove 45 minutes to get there!!! We shldve just left!!! Ill go again maybe to try the catfish, I heard thats bomb!!! Hope, hope!!!
