- HRHumberto RamirezJul 18, 20261.0I had a very disappointing experience at the Dunkin’ location in Lancaster today at around 12:15 PM. I first went through the drive-through to order four donuts. I asked the employee if there was a menu showing which donuts were available. She told me they don’t have a menu in the drive-through and that they only offer assorted donuts. When I asked if I could order a chocolate glazed donut instead, she interrupted me and quickly listed the available donuts in a rushed, impatient tone that was difficult to follow. Rather than continue the conversation, I thanked her and decided to come inside to place my order. Once inside, we waited about 10 minutes, even though the restaurant was not busy. There were only two customers in the lobby and just one or two cars in the drive-through. It appeared that only one or two employees were working. The same employee, Kristin, took our order. Throughout the time we were there, she seemed visibly stressed, tired, and irritated. She spoke to us and other customers with an unfriendly attitude, which made the experience uncomfortable. I understand that working in customer service can be challenging, and if the store is short-staffed, that can certainly add stress. However, customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. I hope management checks in with their team and provides the support or staffing they need. Based on my experience today, Kristin seemed overwhelmed and could probably benefit from additional support or time off if she’s experiencing burnout. Regardless of the cause, the level of customer service we received was disappointing and not what I expect when visiting Dunkin’.
