- MGMichele GreenAug 20, 20261.0There are severe issues with both customer service and the drive and go order team at the Lakeport, CA Safeway location (1071 11th St). More than $80 worth of items were completely missing from my order today. When I attempted to resolve this, nobody answered the phones at the Drive & Go station. Furthermore, the store-level customer service team was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Due to Safeway's operational error, I am now being told I must wait up to 7 days for a refund and the store operational manager has to approve. The store customer service line did not know who the operational manager is so eventually took my name and message for the drive and go manager. I am left without my groceries and my money. I’m out more than $80 since this was my grocery bill to get by for the week and now I can’t even make my planned dinners since I’m missing so much of my order. This is not the first time this has happened either. The drive and go clerk, a woman with reddish long hair, brought out multiple orders and loaded another person’s first. That person probably got my order because no one looks at the labels with customer names. The previous time it happened was with an order in excess of $400 where they lost the order but after almost a month of not being refunded I had to reverse charges on my credit card. Custer service is rude and unhelpful and drive and go is poorly mismanaged.

Cashier take so long they don’t care if you have to go to work they don’t care if you get the sale price and don’t try to help them go faster !!! I had to put my coffee back because they would not give me the sale price so know I had to go to another store for my coffee.
