A low-key Filipino food court and grocery with a great selection of snacks and pantry staples. We stopped by for the halo-halo, which was satisfying overall, especially with the rich ube ice cream and crunchy cornflakes on top. The generous amount of ice and dense jelly at the bottom took away a bit from the experience, but it was still a solid treat. We didn’t try the hot food, but the dishes at the counter looked comforting and tasty.

The pancit was okay, taste a lil too lemon-ey.

I'm not sure I've been anywhere more welcoming than this place. Took my kids here to try halo-halo, which they learned about from PBS.
What I really like about this place is that it has a great vibe and an assortment of food. It’s my go to place that I recommend to my friends, family, and business partners who are looking to try Filipino food for the first time or a solid go-to spot for Filipino food in Orange County. It’s a good meeting spot for my meetings because it’s right off the 5 freeway off El Toro, has table seating, and it’s clean! Looking forward to visiting again and seeing what rotating dishes they have to offer!
I went to Manila Food Mart and left feeling disappointed. The workers themselves were not the problem at all. They were still trying their best and stayed polite even while being very busy. The issue seemed more like management. The employees looked overworked, stressed, and rushed, like there were not enough staff to handle everything. It looked like they needed more support, better scheduling, and proper break times. I hope management takes better care of their employees because the workers deserve better.
