While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Lake Forest,CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

- MAMartin AcostaSep 5, 20262.0As soon as we got in through the back door, it smelled really bad. If it wasn't that we were really hungry, we would have left. When the food arrived and we tasted the Cole slaw, to our surprised it was bitter. It had already gone bad. In all the years I have eaten at many Pollo Loco restaurants, none of them have been this bad. I have always given good reviews, except for this location.

- DPDunamis PaloshAug 12, 20265.0Great experience at El Pollo Loco! The chicken was fresh, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had a delicious fire-grilled flavor. The sides were tasty, portions were generous, and everything was served quickly. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. A great option when you want something flavorful and satisfying without feeling like typical fast food. Definitely coming back!
- L5LaMASIA 5611Jul 17, 20261.0They take 40 minutes today just to give me a tostada bowl. I even saw people that came after me get their food first and expeditor was rude when people ask for help. Had to ask another worker that was very nice for help.
