  Didn't look like much from the outside, but inside is very nice. The couples tables tho, are way too close together and so cluttered. There isn't enough room for your plate and drink.....but....food was delicious! I had the halibut with mango salsa. OMG.... Delicious!! My bf had the shrimp n pasta. He said it was very good but the halibut was better. You absolutely need to try the beet salad. So many flavors. For dessert we had the lemon cheesecake. It was mouth watering. Service was too rushed. I got my beet salad and 4 min later I received my dinner plate. Even though there were a few hiccups, we did have a pleasant evening and we'll be back.

  Is the atmosphere high class? No. But it's charming, clean, and has character. Food and service was excellent. My husband and I had the best anniversary experience here. The food was perfection. We were surprised by a live guitarist/singer which was fun. I was lusting over the tiramisu and was disappointed to find they were out. Apparently tiramisu doesn't want me to have it because I have been trying since April to get some. I asked my husband to get my a slice for my birthday and he completely forgot. Later, I went on a "tiramisu" girl's night out specifically to get tiramisu and the restaurant we went to (not Bistro K) was out of it. Then our wedding anniversary night at Bistro K was a bust. 😆 Anyway, I told the server about my misadventure with tiramisu and he was so kind and gave us a slice of flourless chocolate cake to go for free. We will definitely be returning. I wish we had the money to eat here weekly, but it's definitely a special occasion spot for us.

  Seen this place for years and never stopped in. Been several times over the last year or so and it’s much more lively than you’d be lead to believe by appearances. Happy hour is a great deal. Dog friendly patio is a plus but tight so leave the yappy dogs at home. Had a number of different servers/assistants and they’ve all been super lovely. Food is very consistent and delicious. Just has that good, locally owned je ne sais quoi. Good lil haunt & will be frequenting

  Stopped in at The Bistro K with clients who were touring properties in the Laguna Hills and Laguna Niguel area. A cozy Italian restaurant that offers a nice contrast to the more upscale dining options in the region — sometimes buyers want to understand the full range of dining available in a neighborhood before committing. The homemade pasta dishes were genuinely good, and the relaxed atmosphere made for an easy conversation about the local market. South OC has excellent dining diversity and spots like this contribute to that community feel buyers are looking for.
