I barely walked through the door before the guy behind the counter gave me the stink eye. Don't know if it's because I'm blue collar or a minority but this is Subway for Christ's sake.
He was working on sandwiches for two customers when the first words out of his mouth at me where "what are you doing?"
I was headed toward what I assumed was the start of the line while looking around for a restroom to wash my hands. You know, the things we use to eat sandwiches?
When I explained, he dismissively scoffed that this location had no restrooms.
I walked out and went to McDonalds. Anywhere would have been better than here.

Very disappointing experience at this Subway location (3322 Mount Diablo Blvd, Lafayette).
I ordered a Veggie Pattie sandwich through the Subway app, but when I arrived at the store, they told me it was out of stock. This was not updated in the app, which caused confusion and wasted my time.
I waited around 40 minutes while staff contacted the owner. The owner was very rude and unprofessional, and did not try to help or offer a proper solution. Even when I agreed to change my order, they refused unless I paid extra.
After all the waiting, my order was canceled. Very poor customer service and no respect for customers’ time. This location should improve communication and update inventory properly in the app.

i got about a 8th of a avacado. I also didn’t ask for tuna and he just started putting it on and when i corrected him he didn’t make a new one.

I’m done ordering from this Subway. We were rushing to get lunch before afternoon plans, so we ordered ahead online. I got there at the estimated time it would be ready and they had to find the paper that had been printed out to start making my meal. They made my order but when I got home, we realized there was a sandwich missing. When we came back and explained the situation, there was 0 empathy and it just seemed like they were annoyed. Then there was no urgency and it felt like they were deliberately taking their time despite acknowledging it was their mistake and our emphasis on being in a hurry.
