  Most recently I came for the $12 lunch special with a coupon from the CLIPP magazine. Unfortunately the coupon is good for only ONE meal, not the entire table. My wife and I really like this place. Many of the dishes are quite tasty. I went a bit out of my comfort zone and ordered some items I hadn't tried before. So it's my own fault if I didn't like the Saag Aloo. The curry chicken was a brown curry which was OK but their yellow curry is much better. The corn/garbanzo soup and the naan bread were excellent. The rice pudding dessert was OK.

  Ordered pick up. It was ready at pick up, and the guy at the register was nice. Food quality average compared to other restaurants. Naan bread was spongy and stale. Chicken tikka masala spice gave it a boost of flavor, yet overall food and sauce had tasted like the spices were sprinkled on and rapidly cooked rather than giving the spice time to savor and soak in to give the chicken and sauce a rich savory taste.

  I decided to write a review after eating here weekly for about a year or maybe more. The food, the people, the service and the atmosphere here is wonderful. La Mesa is truly grateful to have such a wonderful restaurant. Also the app is really well done. So easy to order and pay. My favorites are the Tandori Salmon with Yellow Rice and a side of Raita. Also the shrimp chili is a top 5 for me. All of the mushroom dishes are fantastic and the family loves the tofu tikka masala and the chicken vindaloo.

  This is hands down the best butter chicken and cheese naan I’ve ever had in all of San Diego. I’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants in San Diego, including the only 3-star restaurant in Southern California, so I feel confident saying this place deserves serious recognition. I honestly don’t understand why it hasn’t been acknowledged yet. The food is outstanding—flavorful, rich, and memorable. I visited on a Sunday around 3 PM. I originally planned to do a pickup order, but as soon as I smelled the food, I decided to stay and eat in instead. That’s probably why I didn’t even manage to take any photos—I just enjoyed the meal. Service and atmosphere were solid, but the food is the real standout here. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves great Nepalese food. You will not be disappointed.

  This is one of our favorite restaurants and we’ve been coming here for several years almost every weekend. We were excited to use your new app but were disappointed that your Mulligatawny soup and Daal were not in your app menu so we had to call in the order and didn’t get points on the app. Please add it to your app menu because we love getting those loyalty points! Thanks so much and see you next weekend!
