  An hour ago, I went to local Pavilions on Girard, and there was a MANIAC Leaf-Blower blowing a plume of toxic dust into everyone's face, including children in strollers - How Sick It That? I told the store manager about it and he said, "just let them do their job." (?)

  Stepped in here while we charged. Service could have been better. The cashier made a mistake at check out and didn’t apply the correct discount so we had to go to the customer service counter which added unnecessary time.

  I wanted to take a moment to recognize Stephanie in the bakery department at the La Jolla Pavilions for the exceptional service she consistently provides. This is the second time I’ve come to Pavilions for a special cake, and both experiences have been outstanding because of her. The first time, Stephanie helped me with my sister’s gender reveal cake and even took the time to follow up afterward. Most recently, I came in looking for a bridal shower cake and was in a bit of a time crunch. Stephanie immediately stepped in, helped me find exactly what I needed, and had everything ready so I could make it back to work on time. What stands out most about Stephanie is her positive attitude and genuine kindness. She has such a light about her that instantly makes customers feel welcomed and valued. In today’s world, it’s not always easy to find people who go the extra mile, but Stephanie does exactly that. Rather than focusing on what can’t be done, she always seems focused on finding a solution and making things happen for her customers. What impressed me most is that these were two completely separate visits, and although she didn’t remember me from the first one, she still provided the exact same level of exceptional service. That tells me this isn’t just a great employee having a good day—it’s who Stephanie is every day. Stephanie is a true asset to the La Jolla Pavilions team and deserves to be recognized for the care, professionalism, and positivity she brings to her role. She has made both experiences stress-free and enjoyable, and because of her, I will continue coming to La Jolla Pavilions for all of my special occasion cakes. Thank you, Stephanie, for everything you do!

  The supervisor, April, is rude & incompetent. I had a valid manufacturer coupon for a cake and she denied it bc she didn’t know how to manually put it in the system. When I told her I hadn’t had issues using the coupon at stores like sprouts she told me to go to sprouts then. I told her the cake was only sold at this location & she didn’t care. She did nothing to help me even though the coupon was valid and the issue was her lack of knowledge and her attitude. I believe April needs to be retrained bc I’m not sure how she got the supervisor position but can’t figure out a $10 coupon that clearly states on the back “the bakery will reimburse you for this coupon”. In the end I did go to sprouts later and the coupon worked just fine. The girl at the register wasn’t even a supervisor and handled it without a single issue.
