But the best thing about Safeway is there produce and the flower section. I find the produce area, always clean and the fruit and vegetables are fresh. I love love love the cut fruit section. I don't always want a whole watermelon. I like the variety I can get. I find all the workers clerks at Safeway to be very helpful if I am in the produce area and can't find something, the produce manager will actually find it for me. The flower section is wonderful and since we don't have a decent florist in Amador county I rely on it for all my floral needs.

I feel like I’ve made some good friends here and they remember me even when it’s been a month since my last visit. This morning I spent an hour and a half shopping in here waiting to my dog from the groomers and I had a good time. The pharmacist was very knowledgeable, I was able to get my prescriptions immediately. Also, the organic apples the clean cut young manager showed me are delicious, I ate one in my car, and I hope they are there when I come back next month. I will only shop in this store, the fruits and veggies I buy here last a long time because they are good quality. Also, the cashier lady with the dark hair is a joy to interact with. I can’t wait to come back.

In my area of Sacramento the stores aren’t nice and clean like this. The produce department is immaculate and the produce manager actually stopped what he was doing to help me find something, happily! I can’t seem to get help without attitude from people so this was refreshing to me. I am considering just saving up all my grocery shopping for here when I come to visit.

And the mgr is always rude and acts like he should have retired 10 years ago. Have dealt with this for wow.... At least 10 years now. Have just started going elsewhere to buy produce and usually end up doing shopping there. But other than that.... Safeway is a great supermarket!
