- THterry hallMay 1, 20264.0I've been enjoying the sausage McMuffins from McDonald's for a very long time... Lately I've found out how good they can be when you add dill pickles to them. Well, yesterday I stopped by the McDonald's off of the 210 Freeway at Irwindale Ave location. I was very disappointed to have a young man at the counter to deny my request for pickles on the side. He was insistent that pickles were only searved with the lunch menu! This is not only ridiculous but not very accommodating for such a simple request. Rather than taking his time and initiative, to enhance the experience of a regular customer, by simply reaching into the back for a side of pickles, he chose to argue with and leave this customer with bad experience and then, missing ingredient that made my sandwich as I was hoping to have it. NOT GOOD! As I was leaving that location, I stopped next door at 'Farmer Brothers' Restaurant to see if they wouldn't mind (even though I wasn't even their customer) if I could get a side of pickles for my ' McDonald's' sandwich... They were very gracious, and with a smile and "have a great day" generously handed me that side of pickles, that I very much did enjoy on my 'McDonald's' Sausage McMuffin. No thanks to the smug counter employee, with the red tie, at that McDonald's. He needs a lesson in providing better (or at least) adequate customer service. 🤔👈
