  I come to LA strictly for Soul Food. The fish was pre fried and reheated and was still lukewarm when served. The mac and cheese was over cooked a not seasoned well along with the greens. My kids didn't finish their plates. Overall a disappointment, but I'll keep trying to support my folks.

  Dulan's has improved a lot, in some areas, and declined in others. The fried chicken used to be GREAT; perfectly seasoned, thoroughly cooked and crunchy. The last few times I've gotten it, there was much to be desired. The mac & cheese has been horrible since the beginning; no elbow macaroni. They use noodles, but they're overcooked and they use what tastes like "government cheese". You know the kind they used to give out for free, in the '60's?? However, the cornbread muffins are good, the collard greens have improved tremendously (they used to serve mostly stems)😩 and the yams are delicious 😋 Overall a decent meal. I hope they make improvements to the fried chicken, by going back to the way they used to season and fry it and by using elbow macaroni and not overlooking it.

  We tried this place for the first time while traveling, and I highly recommend it. Everything was fresh, and the customer service was excellent. Amber took great care of us and was very friendly. I will definitely come back if I’m in LA again. The wait was a little long, but it was worth it because everything was made fresh to order.

  I can't even rate the food because it never came. After waiting 50 minutes asked about it and said our order was never taken, which it was. Drinks and cornbread were served 45 minutes before. Then had an attitude, because we needed to leave. Asked to pay for our drinks and received the eye roll. Too bad, I really wanted to try it. But not willing to wait another 50 minutes.

  I when 06/12/2026 I’m from Alabama and this not no good cook but it’s my opinion but yes I taste the difference in food made with love and food just put together. Classic in the food cabbages was not completely cooked macaroni tasted like macaroni and I know what I’m talking about because I have a restaurant that makes them mashed potatoes. I don’t know that was not for easy the waitress over entitled to not do or give anything to even be Of title, but we did leave a tip I would say the best thing they had was the cornbread like I could’ve said probably eat 1500 of those.
