  The food is great, no issues at all, the food is prepared very well, I drive for Uber Black and I always stop here for lunch and dinner!

  I wish they would go back to viewing what you get before ordering at the window. Candid yams -YUCK- Gravy - Yuck - no butter - no sweetness to the yams taste like Canned yams highly disappointed.

  I've always loved Dulans, but this time was horrible. The mac and cheese tasted processed, greens had no flavor and the yams weren't sweet. The cornbread was dense, but the chicken was good. I am very unsatisfied with my meal, now I have to find me a new soul food restaurant. RIP Dulans.

  Food was ok, the greens were good and chops were ok, corn bread was ok. Mac and cheese is ok. Red beans and rice were not good. I was expecting more from the reputation it has. Where is aunt kizzys back porch or Angelina’s kitchen table? I just expected more flare, my cooking skills. My friends meatloaf lacked substance and flavor. Time to find somewhere else for soul food. Let me know if I’m asking too much but the past places I mentioned were much better.

  The food was tasty but not salty. Just like I like it. HBP doesn't need to much salt. The food wAs hot! Not warm but right out the oven or stovetop hot. Sweet yams, great greens, black eye peas were done! Okra mix was very good but I prefer more okra than corn. Also, seasoned well. The cornbread, well delicious. The smothered pork chops and oxtails are umm ummm delicious. I didn't try and drink or dessert. Saving it for my next visit.
