  The store is very clean, the hostess was very sweet and informative. The food was good, I got smothered chicken , cabbage and rice&gravy. My husband had the fried fish, greens and macaroni & cheese. Definitely had to take a nap afterward. A bit pricey for me but overall pretty good.

  Atmosphere was a lot better than the dressing I ordered. My sister had the catfish and it was great. But the smothered chicken, dressing and macaroni and cheese should just come off the menu. Or get a new recipe. Price was way too high for something I could've prepared better. Just order the catfish.

  Me and my grandma loved our food today!!!! Delicious 😋 we appreciate the large portions and the seasonings was on point! Definitely coming back to try more things 🔥

  $10 deal= Red beans with rice, cornbread & 2pc dark chicken. I didn't order the yams but saw them being packed for someone else's plate..they looked 😋 Also noticed a side of black eyed peas (unsure how they actually taste but they looked very watery) My order kept getting passed over so after 4 ppl who arrived behind me received their orders (2 out of the 4 had some type of issue) I asked about my food. The guy told me somehow my order had just been overlooked. I took that as my sign to kindly request refund & maybe try them again another time. The young lady who initially took my order (friendly) was same person to void the transaction. It was her concerned customer service that maked me feel as if this particular day the staff may have just been overwhelmed.

  My parents absolutely love Dulan's and I used Dulan's to cater my wedding back in 1999.I usually order food from the Crenshaw location. I had never been to the one on Manchester and Market so my parents and I decided to go last Sunday. The parking was a little tight and the ordering line was long. My parents wanted to eat inside so I let my Dad out so he could see if the dining room was crowded. He came back and was excited to let us know that there was plenty of seating. We walked in. My Dad is 87 and my Mom is 80. She has dimentia and walks very slow. My Dad has to hold her hand to keep her steady. We walked in at 6:35 and the waitress refused to seat us. She said she had already started clearing out the dining room. She was dismissive and unapologetic. I was so done. I don't play about my parents. Plus the hours for the dining room stated that it closes at 7. Shame on the young lady with the red, heart-shaped glasses for not providing the customer service we deserved. I did call and I spoke with Veronica. I think that's her name. She was very nice and apologetic! Thats why I gave a 2 and not a 1.
