  When I say this is the best El Pollo Loco I have eaten at in a long time. I ate this burritto slow so I could saver the taste. This El Pollo Loco needs to be the standard for all othe El Pollo's to follow. Cause my food was fresh and tasted amazing, and the service was great. I eat El Pollo almost everyday mostly because of price, but today it was because of taste. Amazing

  Ordered at drive through and was told to park and my food would be brought out to me, the girl went on break and forgot about me and i waited and finally had to go ask for my food which had been ready for minutes :( also the tacos barely had chicken in them was really disappointed with this location

  Terrible service. I ordered a family meal plus a separate salad (an additional $15) and chips. When asked about salsa, I clearly specified that I only wanted the spicy red salsa. At the window, I was handed a bag that immediately felt too light. I asked if my salad was included, and the employee said no—completely forgetting a $15 item—and had to take the bag back to add it. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. When I got home, I realized the order was still incomplete: no chips, no salad dressing, and no red spicy salsa. It’s incredibly frustrating to have to double-check your order at the window and still end up with missing items—especially when one of them is a separate, expensive item that was initially forgotten altogether. Please do better.

  El Pollo Loco – Formal Complaint Regarding Management Location: 2501 E Slauson Ave, Huntington Park, CA 90255 I am submitting this as a formal complaint regarding the conduct and professionalism of the management and staff at the above location. I ordered a Meal for Two and politely asked if I could substitute the leg for a breast or additional thighs. I clearly stated I was willing to pay extra. The manager refused, despite another employee confirming that fresh thighs were available. I was instead given old legs and thighs. The meal includes two salads. I selected creamy cilantro dressing for both. I was told I could only have one and had to politely insist to receive the second dressing that already comes with the meal. Even requesting basic utensils such as a fork and spoon was met with unnecessary attitude. Throughout the interaction, I remained calm, respectful, and courteous. The manager’s tone and behavior were dismissive and unprofessional. The overall experience made me feel unwelcome as a customer. I have visited many El Pollo Loco locations and have never experienced this level of poor service. Management sets the standard, and this location failed to meet basic expectations of customer care. I respectfully request that corporate review this location’s management practices and provide additional training on professionalism and customer service.
