  We came to this specific McDonald’s because it has a courtyard where we can sit peacefully, enjoy some quiet, and eat comfortably. This is especially important for our family because our mother has suffered two strokes and needs a calm environment. When we tried to enter the courtyard, we were stopped and told that we needed permission from the manager, even though the courtyard was completely empty and clean. I asked three different employees for permission, and each of them looked to the person who appeared to be the manager, a man named Mauricio Pendeza. He refused to let us in. When I politely asked why, he rudely denied us access without giving any explanation at all. It was very upsetting and disappointing to be treated this way. We simply wanted a quiet place for our mother to sit and eat peacefully. I truly hope McDonald’s addresses this kind of behavior, because customers deserve respect, kindness, and basic human decency.

  Just got a free ice cream cone with my points from the app. But you have to wait 15 minutes in between if you would like to use your application points that you have accumulated on anything else your rewards can obtain in the app... What's going to get 2 ice cream cones BUT only ended up getting one because I had to wait... 15min to get another... But other than that. Very good way to end the hot day in Hollywood, CA. :)

  Date/Time: On April 23rd at around 3:45 am. Address: 1413 North Vine, Hollywood, CA 90028 I’ve had a frustrating and unprofessional experience at this location. I arrived at the drive-thru at approximately 3:45 AM and placed a simple request: I asked for a Big Mac meal with a substitution…specifically replacing the burger with two orders of chicken nuggets. This is a substitution I have successfully requested at multiple McDonald’s locations across different regions, so I did not expect any issue. The employee at the intercom initially told me they “don’t do that,” then said he would speak to a manager. After a pause, I was told to drive forward. However, when I reached the window, the original employee did not acknowledge me and walked away without explanation. A second employee, who appeared to be a manager, then approached the window with a noticeably rude and dismissive attitude. Instead of assisting, she immediately asked, “What do you want?” in a harsh tone. When I calmly explained that I had been directed to pull forward regarding my order, she stated that they do not allow that substitution at this location. When I asked for clarification, she became increasingly impatient and said, “We’re closing right now, so what do you want?” This was confusing, as no one had mentioned the store was closing prior to this point. I was then rushed to make a new decision under pressure. When I attempted to order an alternative item, I was told they were no longer serving food because they were closed. This entire interaction was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. If the location was closing, that should have been clearly communicated from the beginning instead of having me wait, move forward, and attempt to place multiple orders. Additionally, the lack of basic courtesy and communication from staff especially the manager was unacceptable. I understand that policies may vary by location, but professionalism and respectful communication should not.
