- CRCamie R4 days ago1.0I was in the store this afternoon and asked an employee for help in the produce section, I was denied because I spoke English. I call the store manager and she said that they can’t discriminate hiring people if people don’t speak English. All I heard was that employee was hired to help Spanish speaking people ONLY which as a long time customer I find this to be very selfish. People should be hired to help all customers NOT just ONE demographic of people!

I can only attribute this to one common factor as related to each of the feelings I just enumerated. Safety! There, I said it! Yes, sports fans, the name says it all. Without question, the way was ( IS ) absitively SAFE. It is as advertised, SAFEWAY. Fear not, the way is safe at SAFEWAY. That red & white S is symbolic of safety. I know the colors "Red & White" also symbolize the outlaw motorcycle gang known as the "HELLS ANGELS" but I digest... We're talking about safety ladies. While I cupped the sweet melons, tasted the juicy lips of a clam, and stuffed a box with my meat, I was feeling safe all the way... in & out...in & out...in & out...well, you're picking up what I'm laying down. Swing by and get some of that thang.

For a grocery store, that’s ridiculous.

If you took my cart with my cool kitty bag, karma is coming for you… made me start all over again. Went to go let them know if they found it to call me, but no one at guest services, plus like 3 cashiers made eye contact and then continued on with out saying anything…. Argh!
