  Pros: Loved the appetizers! The chicken piccata was delicious! Loved the staff. Cons: I know hiring can be hard, but the kitchen was having a hard time dialing in their entrees on this visit. Two of our six entrees were dry or over-salted. Of course, we did visit at 5:30pm so they were probably still getting into the groove of things for dinner service. Luckily, service and the chefs were very nice and were able to re-fire the risotto and it came out perfect. (Or at least I thought so). We’ve never sent anything back to the kitchen before so we were a bit anxious about doing so, I’m glad it was a seamless experience. Thank you! The other person just tanked it and ate their dry entree (burger, not pictured) and only spoke up after we left. I enjoyed my steak. The steak has new sides as of this week and while I enjoyed it, the rest of the table was nonplussed. I feel like the presentation could be better. I think it’s the plate style with the portion size? Overall we were all feeling a lil letdown with the entrees after the delicious appetizers (besides the chicken piccata which was the best I’ve ever tasted) We chose one dessert (ice cream sandwich, not pictured) and it was a miss. I don’t think our expectations were set correctly for this one. The person who ordered it gave it to me to eat (and he usually loves ice cream. He also ordered the burger) My family’s experience had hiccups, but we also ate the menu so I recommend to just stick with the best choices! Overall: A great no-fuss choice for the Healdsburg square; I’ve always loved this spot for the recessed outside seating, shade, and the outside little kid’s area. They also have a deep list of local beer on tap, wine, and cocktails which we liked more than other spots! (Not pictured). I definitely recommend The Burrow if you’re visiting the area! I would appreciate coming here again so that I can update the star rating.

  We had such a great experience at The Burrow. It strikes that rare balance of feeling elevated without being pretentious. Awesome patio. The food was fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious, the service was genuinely warm, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. You can tell the owners and staff really care about every detail. It’s also one of the few places in Healdsburg that feels truly family-friendly without sacrificing quality. Try the BLT!

  With an amazing beer list that is accompanied by a good wine list, it's hard to think of how to improve our experience here at The Burrow. I ordered the New York strip and discovered how nice it goes with farro and zucchini. The wings surprised me with how amazing they were. The whole experience from when we walked in until we left, semi-inebriated and full, was truly great!

  Went here for the first time and was not disappointed! Our bartender’s service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Cannot wait to go back and recommend anyone visiting Healdsburg do the same!
