- SKSusan KernJun 11, 20262.0the Healdsburg Safeway is average at best. Employees aren't very friendly or helpful, inventory doesn't keep up especially with the specials, dirty and outdated. No one I have heard talk about it says differently. We only shop there when absolutely necessary. I have lived and shopped at many Safeways in the Bay Area and El Dorado Hills and Roseville and this one doesn't compare.

- DKDavid KolskiMay 10, 20261.0I had a pretty disappointing experience at the Healdsburg Safeway today. I came in on a Sunday afternoon to return something. The customer service desk was empty, and the cashiers I spoke with were actually very nice and tried to help. They eventually sent me to Suzy, who told me the customer service employee was probably on break and that nobody else could do returns. I asked if anyone else could be called over or if she could let the person know I was waiting, and she flatly said no. Later, another cashier noticed I still had the item and asked if I was able to return it. I said no, and she immediately helped me process the return. The frustrating part was that while she was helping me, Suzy was standing not 10 feet away loudly talking about me, laughing about the situation, and making comments about how ridiculous I was being. This was all within earshot, in front of other employees and customers. I worked in grocery retail for 10 years, so I get that people take breaks and not every issue can be solved immediately. But openly mocking a customer is just unprofessional. It turned a simple return into a really bad experience, and I hope management addresses it.
