  I was double charged on my card for my order. Also I was purchasing food for my family. I went through the drive through to place my order. When I came to the drive through window to pay I went over my order to make sure it was correct. I was missing one burger and it was added on the bill. The order was going to take longer and I was told to park. When I got my order the employee did not bring the drinks, so they had to go back and it. I checked my order and I thought I saw two tatter tots and 2 fries. When I got home I only had 2 fries and one tatter tot order. I was unable to go back to get my missing food. On top of this I find out a week later I was double charged for my order and discovered it when my account was over drawn. The employees are not friendly and can not take a large order for 5 people. I stopped going there a year before because my order was correct 50% of time when puchasing my orders through the drive through. But they NEVER double charged me. I work with the public and I am always polite to employees. Even if you are polite you are still mistreated by the employees. In the past when older employees took my order it was always correct. I had an older male take my order May 1st and he tried to talk over me when I tried to confirm my order at payment. I believe he double charged me on purpose because I tried to confirm my order before paying. I highly recommend not going to the Hayward Sonic.

  5/9/26 Female staff member was very unprofessional and rude. Was dismissive and no help at all given that I haven't been to this place in years. Train your staff better.

  This was my second time eating at Sonic and possibly my last. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the bun had mold on it. Really disappointing experience. If you do get anything from this Sonic, examine your food — they didn’t notice black and green mold growing on a brown bun.🤢
