  Hidden gem! Good food at an incredibly fair price. The lumpia and pork bbq skewers are great!

  The previous restaurant of PYP, had a transition to new owners. Now known as Ca Lasa. Though we all miss Rog, there is still a warn energy of community and of course, taste of great food that remains. The new chefs are awesome(I believe one was from NoyPitZ) & the new family who owns and runs it are great. The food here is still fantastic. Is it PYP? No. Is it supposed to be PYP? No. It is different, but it's so good and I like their take on a lot of the dishes. Glad this location is still a home for Great Filipino food. They even have a take on Bangus Sisig which I've never had and it was awesome. And the BBQ skewers too... Wow!! My favorite dish is the caldereta when it's available.

  Don't mind the "Atmosphere" being a 4, I ordered online and had the food delivered so I wasn't actually at the restaurant. BUT I will say the food AND the service is amazing. I ordered their lumpia, both chicken and pork, and they were not your standard sized small lumpia. They were longer and oh so, crispy. As I mentioned, I ordered the food to get delivered and there was a small mix-up where the UberEats driver only delivered half of the food. I didn't think much at first because I ordered it for work and I wasn't going to count how much lumpia was in each tray. Heck, it looked like the right count to me. But lo and behold, the restaurant called me and told me about the mix-up. They personally delivered it even though they had the option to just ignore it since I didn't even call them to question it. Good food and good people will always be a great combination and this place has both. I will be going back for sure to try out the rest of the food, but at least for now, they have business from my other coworkers who needs a their lumpia fix and can get it delivered to work.
