Absolutely unbelievable customer service. I've been eating Taco Bell for years and have customized my tacos countless times. Never once has anyone told me that cheese can't be placed under the meat instead of on top of the lettuce in a hard taco. It's such a simple request that I honestly thought there had to be some misunderstanding. Instead of helping, Marco G. at the drive-thru flat-out refused and acted as if I was asking for something outrageous. The situation escalated to the point where he told me to leave the drive-thru and that he wasn't going to serve me at all. I was denied service over asking where the cheese should go on a taco. I wasn't asking for free food, special treatment, or anything complicated. I was asking for a basic customization that Taco Bell customers request all the time. The fact that this turned into an argument and ended with me being told to leave is completely ridiculous. This wasn't a food issue. It was a customer service issue. I've never felt so unwelcome at a Taco Bell. Management should seriously review how customers are being treated because no one should be turned away over a simple request about how their taco is assembled.

Gross. Ordered crunchy tacos with chicken and the chicken was hard (not chewy, actually hard) as if it had been nuked in the microwave way too long. Got take out so didn't know until we were home. Had to throw it away. Have never had to throw away a meal from Taco Bell. Do better!

Dear Taco Bell Corporate Team, I am writing to formally escalate a series of serious concerns regarding the Taco Bell location at Taco Bell Half Moon Bay California. As a frequent customer, shareholder, and business advisor, I am deeply concerned by the persistent operational and behavioral issues at this relatively new branch. My primary concern involves a specific night-shift manager who consistently fails to wear a name tag, in violation of company dress code policy. This individual has repeatedly demonstrated unprofessional conduct and a disrespectful attitude toward customers. Most notably, during a recent visit, this manager physically encroached on my personal space and addressed me in a hostile manner while I was waiting to be served at the counter. Furthermore, I would like to bring the following points to your attention: - Accessibility and Service: Despite the presence of self-service kiosks, the staff at this location have been dismissive of the requirement to provide in-person assistance, which is essential for cash transactions and for accommodating handicapped or impaired guests. - Safety Violations: The dining area currently has industrial equipment obstructing the floor, which I believe constitutes a violation of fire safety codes and poses a significant liability. - Lack of Accountability: I have filed three previous complaints regarding these issues with no apparent resolution. The fact that this manager reportedly has over 30 complaints against them suggests a failure in local oversight. It is my understanding that if management continues to overlook these detrimental concerns and complaints, they may be in violation of established standards. Consequently, I would advise seeking an alternative location for service. It appears the issues extend beyond this specific restaurant and location, indicating a broader failure in management and oversight. As a stakeholder in the brand, I find these practices detrimental to Taco Bell’s core values and reputation. I trust that corporate management will investigate these matters immediately to ensure that safety protocols are met and that professional leadership is instilled at this location. I look forward to your response regarding how these issues will be addressed.
