- JCJamie ClarkJul 31, 20263.0Miserable place to shop now I can no longer tell whether it is the economy, Safeway in general, this specific store, or all three, but I have left this store miserable nearly every time I have shopped here for at least the past year. There also seems to be an ongoing war against anything zero-sugar or low-carb. I used to come here specifically for low-carb ice cream, select brand zero-sugar tonic water and cola, zero-sugar Jell-O, and similar products. One by one, they have either disappeared or become nearly impossible to find. The selection keeps getting worse, the prices keep getting more absurd, and shopping here has become a reliably depressing experience.

It’s almost 11 o’clock and there are no donuts made… So much stuff in the meat department is marked yesterday.. I will not buy something that expired yesterday… So many times when I check out I get overcharged. I have to check my receipt every time I leave to make sure I have not been overcharged. Some of the sales are good… And sometimes they’re not even there because the truck hasn’t arrived or some other excuse.. I’ve been doing a lot of shopping elsewhere… Why is the one in Pacific is so much better than the one and half Moon Bay…????
