Three days ago at the deli counter as the lady at what turkey was on sale cuz there's always a meat on sale she said oh nothing the roasted turkey was on sale for $9.99 not $16.99 a pound so that was a $7 profit they made plus the two the $6 from the things that we didn't get and $6 from the other day so there's like 25 bucks right there And I shop there every day almost so I just don't want to make a scene And be known as that person But 25 bucks is 25 bucks that's a lot of money.
- DMdaveo macronAug 12, 20261.0Stunningly horrible customer service every single time I go there. Two of the mature, journeyman checkers are an absolute nightmare. "Marc" in particular is consistently the slowest, most inefficient cashier I have ever seen. There is no way he can be that bad unless its deliberate. He moves like a snail, he's distracted by everything around him, he seems befuddled by every transaction, its staggering! If you're third in his line, you're going to be there for at least fifteen minutes. There are others that are just as bad. Only the younger checkers seem to have any sense of urgency or respect for customer's time. And then there's the other senior workers who are always just standing around scowling and doing nothing. I've lived here my whole life and Guerneville Safeway is by far the worst supermarket in the county. Avoid this place at all costs if you can. It sucks! I wish I could do zero stars. PS- I would have just emailed the store but there system doesn't allow email, so here we are.
