  I stopped by the El Pollo Loco in Glendora tonight after a long day at work because I was hungry and wanted to grab something to eat. Halfway through placing my order, a girl came from the back and told me that the dining area was closed, with no explanation. I told her it was only 9:00 p.m. and that the store’s hours online show that they close at 10:00 p.m. She then explained that, unfortunately, 9:00 p.m. is when they close the dining area. I went online afterward to see if this was clearly posted anywhere, but I couldn’t find anything on their website stating that the dining area closes at 9:00 p.m. If that is their policy, customers should be informed clearly—especially when the posted store hours indicate they are open until 10:00 p.m. I can see why this location has so many negative reviews. It’s disappointing when management doesn’t seem to address ongoing customer complaints or make improvements. After a long day at work, this was the last thing I expected. Very disappointing experience at the Glendora location. I guess I’ll just add one more negative review.

  Visited this location on 6/10/25 and unfortunately had a bad experience with the store manager. This isn’t the first time service has been an issue at this location, but on this visit, the store manager was condescending, visibly annoyed and treated us as if we were the problem, despite the fact that the service we paid for was not rendered as intended and I was trying to communicate that. There was no attempt on the manager to listen or hear us out. I felt disrespected, I was not rude in anyway to this manager to deserve the treatment I received. I was polite and I barely even spoke ten words to the manager. Disappointing, especially given past visits. I really love the food here, but the continued bad service on top of the conduct of the store manager I experienced today makes me not want to continue giving my business to El Pollo Loco. Hoping upper management/corporate addresses this for future customers.
