  Very friendly and autism- and mobility-disability friendly; easy to find stuff and navigate. I'm on the autism spectrum and use a cane to walk. I can get around the store easy. There are not many oversensory issues in this store, either. If you have a child or are autistic yourself, you should be ok. Nice selection of fresh produce and very good tamales. 🫔 The strawberry, pineapple, and corn ones were the ones I got; they were very tasty.

  Superior Grocers really honors their name in all the aspect of the word. My work, in some instances, takes me over to that side of the city, and I don't cease to be amazed how reasonable/much lower their prices are... approx. half lower prices on veggies, fruit, seafood and numerous other food items. What amazes ne even more is the employees attentiveness! They are so humble and helpful! When I started to frequent Superior Grocers again, I was almost startled in a positive way when the employees literally stepped aside at the site of customers shopping around and coming their way the store! Whereas in other stores the employees are rude and egotistical, almost narcissists. Anyway, I highly recommend any Superior Grocers store, they are all great. Visit this chain of stores, you won't regret it!
