- PAPandas ASMRAug 14, 20261.0I often try to avoid this Vons. I almost never have a good experience here,maybe 15 years ago, but not anymore. The customer service, as far as cashiers are never that friendly and the space is so tight with little room to turn carts, wait in line, or sometimes even go down the isle. But thats cosmetic. My biggest grip is the customer service. I dont feel comfortable putting names online, but my cashier not only did NOT greet me, but ignored me when I greeted him. Complete indifference that I was a person standing there. He didn't give me my total, didnt ask me if I wanted bags, and semi agressivly put my items in the bag. Then he proceeded to silently look down. When I asked if my receipt was in a bag he told me" Not yet". Then wordlessly handed it to me. You dont realize how important greetings are until your experience is completed void of them. This experience truly disappointed me and will no longer come back here. I couldn't find a number or survey on the receipt so I thought id make a review.

Prices arent labeled correctly, staff is always lazy or on the phone, only selfcheck out is open and it barely works without calling the attendant over ever couple seconds. I came on a Tuesday at 1:00PM shelves are barely getting stocked, zero cashier lanes open, and its significantly more expensive with less actual product compared to other grocery stores near by. The Ralph's 1 mile away have 4x the products and is cheaper with actual service even as late as 1am save yourself and just go there.

I mentioned how they also openly promote false advertisement. Pre-cook spare ribs was marked down for 7.99 but I was charged full price of 14.99. Last night, because I didn't have a choice, I bought a salad for lunch to eat today, July 26th 2026, and when I opened it, I was greeted with moldy cheese. In short, go to anywhere else but this particular Vons. Never had I had problems like these from any other grocery stores.
