Came for cinco de mayo to enjoy dinner and some drinks with my fiancé. When we arrived we were told it would be a 30 minute wait until our table was ready. We came back 30 minutes later and was fold they weren’t sure how much longer it’d be as people were ahead of us and the kitchen and bar were both backed up. After telling the waitress that we were over 21 she allowed us to sit at the bar. We waited 25 minutes at the bar and were not greater by any of the staff, the same waitress who sat us told us to come to her area as a table has cleared up and she would be able to help us. She took our order right away and brought us chips and salsa. We had no problem waiting for our food and we received them about 15-20 minutes later, but still no drinks. We ordered carne asada and chicken tacos. The asada was very pink upon taking a bite, inedible to where my partner took one bite and refused to finish his meal out of fear of getting sick. Meanwhile Our waitress assured us the drinks were on the way twice. But as we finished our meal and sat waiting for our drinks our waitress brought us our check saying that our drinks were taking too long and she wasn’t going to continue to ask the bartenders for them so she removed them from our bill. After further look the drinks were removed but the price was not deducted from it, however our server fixed the issue with no problem. I did wake up in the middle of the night vomiting from an upset stomach which I assumed to have been caused by the tacos since I had nothing else to consume, not even my drinks. This was our first visit and we had high expectations given the good feedback in social media, buy I’m sad to say we will not be going back. Our server Serena was the highlight of our visit, she really did her best to make our experience pleasant even with the busy crowd.

This is such a beautiful little gem of a place. The large windows and unique architecture of the old building gives the place character and charm. The decor was simple but appealing and brought a clean low stress feel which is not often felt in similar restaurants. The food was truly amazing and the 5 dollar margaritas on Wednesday were truly fantastic. The prickly pear and the cucumber margaritas….even the house margarita was very pleasant. However, the tacos chicken tinga and the tequila fajitas were the best I have ever had. Seriously, we will be back.

I had really high hopes for this restaurant since they advertised an outdoor seating area, but when I arrived, I was told the outdoor space was only for events and weddings. Instead, we were seated inside at a tiny, wobbly table, which made the meal quite uncomfortable. The ambiance didn’t match the charming photos at all. The food was just okay, and the service was forgetful—she missed some items we ordered, and then they added them to the bill by mistake. I had to double-check so I wouldn’t get overcharged.
