Overall had a good experience at the Fresno flemings, the steak was definitely the star of the show as it should be. Their New York is my favorite. The problem is the sides. Our flemings potatoes were grey, tasted ok but looked disgusting. Should not serve grey potatoes they should be white with cheese on them. Also if the asparagus is out of season don’t serve it, no one wants tiny yellow asparagus. Please get your sides up to par with Ruth Cris. Their sides were better all the way around and better selection. The good news is your New York was way better than theirs. Please fix the problem with the sides.

We reserved our table arrived on time and we were seated immediately. The half round booth we were seated in was nice the chairs were a little low like the cushions were worn inside the chair. I just scooted to the side more and it was fine. Our waiter was a delight. Our steaks were cooked to perfection I would definitely add the Diablo shrimp on top the flavor was just what I was hoping for. During our reservation they asked if there was an occasion I said yes a birthday. When we got to our table it had decor cute little accents of Happy Birthday. The waiter took our picture and came back in what felt like 5 min with a cute pictures of us inside a picture frame for the birthday girl. Very sweet and thoughtful to make the day even more special for the one I love. Thanks again for those considerate moments that made the experience much more memorable. The Birthday girl had a great time loved her food and her Esspreso Martini she wants to go back again real soon.

Complacent! My wife and I decided to have a nice dinner on Easter. We made a reservation for later in the evening but our plans changed and arrived earlier. We opted to sit in the bar and were told to just take a seat anywhere so we sat in a booth. When our server (we'll call him Slick) arrived it's like we were old friends. He casually rested his arm across the back of the booth and rested his knee on my wife's bench/seat. We ordered drinks: a beer for my wife and I had an Old Fashioned. After we received our drinks, Slick came back to take our order and does it again... the rested knee on my wife's seat. Flemings used to be a classy restaurant. What happened to their professionalism? We ordered the Burrata app, Caesar salad and rib eye steak, all to share. We later added the au gratin potatoes. All the food was fine except for the potatoes, they seemed discolored, old. We were given chilled forks for our salad which was nice but the server's line... "the forks are chilled to enhance your dining experience" was a bit of a stretch. We needed more than chilled forks to enhance our experience. As I mentioned, the food was fine, fortunately, because no one ever came and asked how our meal was. We did order another round of drinks but instead of another Old Fashioned I order a glass of wine. Slick came to the table first with the beer and set it in front of me. I told him that that was for my wife. He tried to joke off his incompetence. Used to be that restaurants, Flemings included, worked to get your business. They worked at making your dining experience something memorable that made you want to go there again. They tried to "WOW" you! That's no longer the case. And by the number of guests dining that night... it showed. They have become complacent. It's been a few years since we dined at Flemings. We thought we'd make it a special night. We won't be back. Just not worth it.
