  The customization flow in the Panera app is extremely misleading. I only changed the bread to a croissant, assuming the original sandwich ingredients would stay the same. Instead, the app silently removed ALL fillings (egg, cheese, sausage, etc.) unless you manually re-add every single item. Ended up paying over $8 for basically just a plain croissant. A normal customer would reasonably expect “change bread” to only change the bread, not reset the entire sandwich. Very frustrating user experience.

  Not a good one. Was there today around 3:30 since we are senior asked cashier to substitute soft bread for mix and match $4.99 deal he said cannot we can get only whatever on the order. Very unhappy need to walked out sturbing. We were there yesterday and got the tomato bread 🥪 to substitute. That was very nice to the cashier to help us out but not today. Different cashier very unhappy customer we are.

  Do not order to-go, they just ignore those to focus on people dining there. The whole time I was there I didn't hear a single to-go order called, after half an hour I ask what happened to my order, they had it sitting in a bag in their kitchen they just don't have anyone bringing those out. As to the food, the bread is good but the soups are bad.

  Love their pick two. Most times it's really hard to choose, since they have so many delicious options. And their pastries... Oh my!

  Food tastes fine but I paid for a whole sandwich with extra sauce and got a half sandwich with barely any sauce and the tiniest saddest piece of bacon. I shouldn't have to unwrap my sandwich in the store to find out if someone can give me what I paid for, especially when it's so expensive. Why have a checklist style receipt when it's clear the employees aren't actually checking??
