  The Afghan cuisine here is delicious, but the restaurant itself is very small and has a few drawbacks for dine-in guests. When they cook, the dining area often fills with smoke, so I wouldn’t recommend sitting inside if you are sensitive to smoke or have breathing issues. There are a few tables outside, but when we visited, the outdoor heaters were off, making it too cold to sit comfortably. The space has a very casual, basic setup, yet they charge a mandatory 15% service fee. Our service was quite slow, and we eventually had to get our own plates, napkins, and utensils. Parking is available on the street and in the back, though spots can be limited. Overall, the food is good, but between the recent price increases and the automatic service charge, dining in just doesn't feel worth it. I highly recommend ordering takeout instead. Also, note that they close quite early, so plan your orders accordingly!

  Extremely horrible, rude and racist staffs to the brown people. They are only nice to afghans. I urge everyone to not support this racist place. I went in to pick up a delivery order and they told me to wait outside and after 20 mins when i went in as no one was bringing the food, i saw the food sitting on table. When i said why they didn't call me as they said they would, the young male server gestured with his hands to go away in a very rude manner. I would never visit this place again and i hope they go out of business.

  I picked up the lamb kabob plate to go and it was delicious. The pieces of lamb were big and they were cooked to perfection. I ordered the brown rice and added raisins and carrots, which is well worth a few extra dollars. DeAfghanan never disappoints.

  Tasty food with good portion sizes. Appealing indoor and outdoor decors. The open kitchen smokes could run to the dinning areas when busy cooking. It would be nice if they turned the hood way up. Service was not impressive. No water refill, no checking with guests. Waited 35+ min for food, server did not give us heads up for the wait, nor did he provide updates during the wait. It was not that busy during early afternoon.

  I'm forgiving of mistakes but this one was definitely intentional. I stopped by on a Saturday night for dinner and we were served this bread. They gave us these small and dry end pieces which look like scraps and there were even pieces of plastic in it. This should have never left the kitchen. Don't eat here unless you're ok with being served literal garbage.
