  It was my first time eating Pollo loco. The guy in the front was very helpful and nice. I got the street corn bowl with 2 spicy chicken tenders. The bowl was much better than the tenders. The tenders were just powdered with seasoning and it wasn't even spicy. Their habanero salsa was good as well. Will go back for sure.

First off, Toby was an absolute legend behind the counter. When I walked in, there were several customers ahead of me, and one of them was requesting what can only be described as a strategic reserve of salsa packets. Not a handful. Not a reasonable amount. We were approaching levels that could potentially influence international salsa markets. And through it all? Toby never lost his composure. No attitude. No frustration. No eye rolls. Just calm, professional, white-glove customer service from start to finish. What impressed me most was that the energy never changed. The same patience and professionalism he showed the customers ahead of me carried over to the next customer, then the next, and then to me as well. That consistency says a lot about a person. The restaurant itself was also incredibly clean and well-maintained. The dining area looked great, the staff was moving efficiently, and the entire location carried a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience enjoyable from the moment I walked in. The food was fresh, the portions were solid, and everything came out exactly as expected. But honestly, the service is what stood out. In today’s world, people often remember how they were treated more than what they ordered, and Toby absolutely understands that assignment. Professional. Patient. Friendly. Efficient. The entire team seemed locked in and working together, creating a positive experience for everyone who walked through the door. That’s timeless hospitality. That’s white-glove service. That’s the kind of experience that turns a quick lunch stop into something worth taking the time to recognize. Huge gratitude to Toby and the entire El Pollo Loco team for the kindness, professionalism, and positive energy today. Absolute six-star experience. 10 out of 10.
