This place is a MUST GO if you are in the area! I went with a party of 16 (deposits for reservations are required) and it was just phenomenal. Amazing plating, great food, fun outdoor seating, and amazing service. Try the porkchop, ceviche, and oysters!

Ottimo cibo sia il Ciopino tipo zuppa di pesce che il salmone in crosta di sesamo sul letto di pure’ e cavolfiore stufato . Ambiente accogliente personale gentilissimo e disponibile a comprendere il nostro traballante inglese !

Made a 6:30pm reservation to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We arrived early and ordered drinks, appetizers, and dinner shortly after being seated. We received our drinks, but over an hour later, we still hadn't received a single item of food. Our appetizers were oysters and the only update we got was that our oysters were coming shortly as they were "shucked to order"- this after we'd already been waiting nearly an hour. By 7:45pm, with no appetizers and no dinner, we were forced to cancel our order and leave so we wouldn't miss our skunk train reservation. We ended up eating McDonald's instead of the birthday dinner we had planned. Poor service, poor communication and a complete waste of our evening.

Into everyone's life a little fancy restaurant must fall.... After a walk along the coast and an appetite has been acquired, it is a short walk to this small fancy restaurant just off of downtown. Upon entering, there is a small initimate bar, dining area and a patio out back for "al fresco" dining. By San Francisco Bay Area city standards, it is not fancy in the luxurious, posh sense, but here, seafood is the star! First up, Oysters Rockefeller appetizer. Frankly, they could have been prepared any which way - they were fresh and delicious if you are a fan of oysters! The salmon was good (although a bit overcooked, the waiter didn't ask how it should be cooked). The salmon came perched atop garlic mashed potatoes that were out of this world! The scallops were so fresh and tasty and perfectly paired with polenta and farm fresh asparagus! They also feature Northern California (as in North of the San Francisco Bay Area) wines and beers, something not readily found outside Mendocino County. There was no room for dessert, guaranteeing a trip back to get the full-on meal experience! The environment is convivial. On a late May early evening, there were Graduation dinners out back on the patio, an intimate shared dinner with drinks going on in the bar, and ladies who dine in the corner. Another unique aspect of this restaurant is that it is very close (as in feet away) from the Mendocino Skunk train. Diners will experience the train horn, warning signals and small tremors caused by the train chugging by at any time in their meal. There are also people working out on pedal bikes (yes *on* the tracks) to get exercise on their tour of the redwoods in Mendocino! It added to the ambience as an "only in Fort Bragg" experience! We had a great meal and will be going back!

This was a wonderful treat to find upon our return to Fort Bragg after being away 7years. Celebrating our 29th Wedding anniversary. We honeymooned here and was grateful that there was a true seafood experience waiting for us. Thanks Chef Kristine and Staff for a wonderful experience.
