  At store #1846 Director Steve Montoya in Fair Oaks CA, a cashier named Lorraine, was insanely u professional and nasty during our interaction. I had to be on my phone during the check out. I understand this is not ideal but I was very polite and nice to Lorraine. I greeted her and said sorry I’m on my phone. There was a major life catastrophe happening and I could not hang up my phone. She was immediately so nasty to me. She asked how many avocados are in my bag and I said I’m sorry I didn’t count them and she rolled her eyes and said of course you didn’t. I was unaware I needed to count all of the produce I have in bags. I proceeded to pay and Lorraine said “you are so incredibly rude for being on your phone”. I put the bags in my cart and kept trying to listen to the person on the phone and Lorraine repeated how rude I was. She began saying it louder and louder. I didn’t want to respond and cause a scene so she then looked at the person next to me in line and loudly repeatedly said that I was the rudest person she’d ever seen because I was on my phone. As I walked away, humiliated, I heard her continuing to say louder and louder how incredibly rude I was, I was the rudest person she’d ever met, I was so incredibly rude. All because I had to be on my phone during I did not ignore her. I interacted with her politely and she made me feel mortified that she would yell at me and then continue to yell about me to the customers in line behind me. Please address this insane behavior with her.

  Nice and bright inside also clean. I love the deil nice cuts of sandwiches meats and cheese.

  My wife and I love this Safeway. Their digital coupons are awesome and they make it easy to navigate as well find the fresh produce and meat that we love to eat. Everything is always fresh and the staff very pleasant.

  I am writing to share what a fantastic experience I had at your store today. Specifically, I would like to recognize Trumaine in the dairy department for his exceptional service. He was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to suggest several great options that I had not previously considered. While I originally came in for a gallon of milk, he informed me of various products that would work well for my family, including my adult children and grandchildren. I am currently enjoying yogurt with oats and dark chocolate thanks to his thoughtful suggestions, and I have many new food ideas as a result of his effort. I also want to note that every time I visit, the department is well-maintained and looks great. On the rare occasion that an item is unavailable, I can always count on prompt and helpful attention to resolve the issue.
