  I’ve been coming to the store for the last 14 years and I have never felt so humiliated like today. Cashier was very rude., Very racist. I don’t know her name but she’s usually sitting down and this is the second time that she has a very bad attitude while bagging my food ,and I just asked her nicely today if she could please be careful because she was just throwing my fruits and veggies even the watermelon. She just throw it really hard. You could tell she was not happy while doing it. I do and she was just throwing everything in there like she didn’t care and when I ask her if there was a problem with her bagging my stuff she said no, but she gave me a very very mean look, when I paid as i was leaving I noticed she was really nice to the people behind me so that’s when I feel she was being racist with me , never ever experienced that in my life before and like I said, been coming to the store for so many years and this is the second time this happens with the same cashier I believe she’s a manager, which is even worse because I saw another cashier coming and ask her about something I just don’t know her name.

  Store is clean and has a good selection of food. HOWEVER, the store clerks are the ~laziest~ I've ever seen. The entire self-checkout aisle was out of paper sacks. I stood there for 3 minutes trying to get the attention of one of 5 clerks standing there talking to each other. None of them noticed me --or they ignored me on purpose. I finally walked past them (right past them) and picked up a stack of paper sacks from another checkout aisle so I could check out my groceries. Nobody said anything to me. Unbelievable...

  Dear Vons Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a terrible experience I had at one of your store locations tonight, involving your night manager. Today has been incredibly difficult, as my wife has been in the hospital all day with our child. Since today is also our 22nd wedding anniversary, I stopped by Vons to pick up flowers for her. After purchasing them, I went out to the parking lot, only to look down and see that the flowers had completely fallen apart. I immediately went back inside—no more than 4 minutes after the initial purchase—to explain the situation to the night manager. She was extremely rude and unhelpful, telling me, "I don't care, it's our policy, we don't do refunds on flowers." When I pointed out that I had just bought them 4 minutes prior, she claimed I was being rude and told me never to come through her line again. Her behavior was completely unacceptable. In fact, a kind customer in the parking lot witnessed how upset I was and even tried to give me $20. It is a sad state of affairs when the people in the parking lot are more compassionate than the Vons management staff. I have been a loyal customer shopping at Vons for 30 years, but this company has truly gone downhill. After the way I was treated tonight during an already stressful day for my family, I will never shop at Vons again unless this matter is properly addressed.
