  Boy, I guess I must’ve really bothered the clerk asking for a simple request as crabcakes Clerk seemed like I was really bothering him and that he really didn’t want to be bothered by me. The customer. This is how they treat their customers. I definitely will not be back at this grocery store. Once upon a time I shopped at this store back in the 90s It was a completely different generation. Maybe they just only help certain people I’m an LGBT man in his late 40s maybe they just don’t wanna help people like me no more. Then that is bigotry. The clerks were in the fish department. To the grocery store manager I would really watch who you hire LGBT community men in their late 40s white have as much rights as other people Keep your hateful, bigotry thoughts to yourselves

  Customer service is no existent here. I’ll be wandering long the dairy section looking for something and I can’t find it. So I’ll ask an employee “where’s said item? I walked fairly and couldn’t find it?” The response most of the time is “it’s in the dairy”. No one is willing to help out at all. There’s multiple cashiers who just pull up a chair and sit there without a thought flowing in their head. Walk up to cashier “how’s it going?”, just a blank stare with no response. Then when the you’re done they just say “receipt” and go on to the next. Not a single friendly person here. So I started doing online ordering so I don’t have to deal with rude employees. But my order is never ready on time when it says it is and all the delivery employees are just as rude as the cashiers. Idk if all your employees just hate their jobs this much or if the hate the boss so much. But my recommendation would be to go to lower Vons.

  Kudos to Daniel in the Deli department at the 1000w El Norte VONS. I was shopping on Wednesday July 22, and realized when I got home that my deli ham was missing. I returned to the store and it was not to be found at checkout or held aside. Daniel was very courteous and prompt in validating my receipt, then cutting and providing another portion for me with a smile. Good job Vons for people like Daniel!

  Horrible service from the front end lady doing self check out. I had a simple request which was a mark down of a a salad to the appropriate price shown on the shelf. The lady ensured me that you had to buy two to get the deal, now I am not going to lie I felt a little silly overlooking that, however I realized I was wrong according to her and she then walked back with me and we grabbed a second salad together. Now when we went up to the front to ring it up, it still did not come to the appropriate price. We then had to take a second trip back there to see what was wrong. Upon another inspection she stated that it was actually in the wrong spot and that the salad was in a total of three locations and one of them was incorrect. Now at this point that sounds like they realized an error, especially since she went back to grab it off the shelf with me, and hey would obviously change the price. Wrong that was not the case. She stated customers must have put them there and how could I not notice. This felt off, shifting the Blame to me but okay. So even though it wasn’t just one salad that was placed mischievously by a customer, it was in fact three, they could not be price adjusted and that fancy price guarantee they have hanging by the door is definitely more of an idea rather than a policy. I think what made it worse was the attitude and side comments after she had just gone back with me and done the exact same thing….. not seeing the sale was in three places. Needless to say it will be a saladless dinner. Brandon I really hope that this was just a blip and the person was having a bad day, but I hope that fifty cent was worth it. After I made the comment that I would be leaving a review she did try to get her supervisor involved but at that point….. nah
