  You have two stores within half a mile of each other and you can’t leave one of them open until 11 o’clock at night? Pretty ridiculous.

  I have been a Vons customer for many years in Nevada but this Vons is really not up to par. One way overpriced. Example: Kodiack oatmeal 5.99 at other places. 8.49 here. That is just one example. But my biggest complaint is about the management and how they have treated me on a number of times when i buy scratchers!! The manager guy will never wait on me even though i have gone through the line. Today he told me he would have to help me after he got his lines down. And i had gone through that line. He sent me to wait at customer service and never did come over. He just walks right past me! If Vons doesn’t want to have lottery and take care of lottery customers. Then get rid of it. I was annoyed to the point today that I needed to say something. This has happened a number of times. Mostly by the same manager guy. I am always nice and never make a fuss. And I always wait patiently. But today i was mad!

  This is actually the worst Vons ever. TWICE have we gone to the store and accidentally bought expired items. Obviously I should’ve checked but also I’d rather shop someplace I can trust. I bought coconut water YESTERDAY and it expired a week ago. Also a few months ago, I was on my way to work and bought egg bites in the deli section. I opened them when I got to work and they were all molded inside. I’ve never had this issue at any other grocery store before.

  The store smelled the minute I walked in. It was a Friday (5.00 specials) and a holiday weekend. There was one unlimited checker and one express lane checker, and no one working at self-checkout. My checker was doing her job, and self-checkout was leaving me to bag my own groceries and a long line behind me. I guess the Manager (Jeff, I was told) was elsewhere. Unhappy and changing stores.

  My husband and I came in to buy some dog treats for our dogs in this heat. We saw one of the frozen treat packs on sale for about four dollars, 3.99 to be exact. When we went up to the front, it was nearly 8 dollars when we rang it up. When asked for help, my husband walked over with an employee to see the label clearly label as 3.99 and said “oh it must have been the customers again” and refused to honor the labeled price on the item. Unfortunately this has happened a number of times and I may just stop shopping at Vons all together because this is ridiculous to deal with and then having employees be annoyed and refuse to honor labeled prices.
