  The food is good but service was very bad. We were a group of 9 for birthday dinners. Once we got our food we didn’t see our server for at least 45 minutes. We even asked a bus boy to let out server know we wanted the check. It never came. Finally our server came to mention birthday desserts. He never even asked if we want d to see the dessert menu u.. We waited another 20 minutes and then waited 20 more to get the bill squared away. Two and a half hours later we were free to leave after feeling like we were held hostage by the server and check. We did not see anyone resembling a manager. Terrible experience.

  My family and I were there last night for our anniversary and birthday. I'll start with the positive. Service was very good. It's a beautiful restaurant. The food was a disappointment. The two appetizers, ahi stack, was pretty good but the Kung Pao calamari were so lacking in flavor and presentation. My husband and I had the sea bass. That also was lacking seasoning and a bit mushy. Not sure what the sides were on my plate. The pork chop ordered by a family member was overcooked, sent back and came back still dry and overcooked. The steak that was ordered also was overcooked. I was surprised we were charged for the birthday and anniversary pieces of cake that was offered to us. We ate there a couple years ago and it was good. For an almost $500 bill with tip we won't be going back.,

  I want to give a large shout out the the Manager Jenna. I was confused about booking and attempting to reserve seating for a group and she made accommodations at the last minute without skipping a beat or turning us away considering the fact that we had a rather large party. I cannot say enough of how much I appreciate her and the wait staff for being so kind and accommodating. I will recommend this venue over and over again for any kind of specific coming together. The food and drinks are so worth the visit too. Hey doesn't hurt either that I bought my car from the Lexus dealership below either, lol. We plan on gathering here without fail at least once a month. Thank you again Jenna🌷

  We frequent Vintanas and have for years. This last visit, we got our same same share plates, great service! We were not all9wed to sit at the tables with a view. It was "not open" . We settled and sat in the shaded area so it was more convient for the servers. When our cappuccino was finished, which was made by the manager, we went with it. But as soon as the coffee mugs were cleared, they said tables had a time restriction for other guests. We looked at the sea of open tables. The family next to us was told the same thing. We left with a ho-hum feeling. Less cash to shop with and booted. Last visit for us to Vintana!

  I have had well over a hundred 5 star evenings at Ventana but have not been in for several years. Today I found myself in the neighborhood with my family and we wanted a good meal and decided to go to Ventana. Being Sunday I confirmed online that they were open and we drove over. We entered the elevator along with another group and all tried the 3rd floor button and nothing worked.so we all exited the elevator and took the stairs only to find the door locked at the top of the stairs and yet we could see people sitting down at tables. Someone from the other party banged on the door and eventually someone let us in. It all seemed so weird and no staff ever came around to explain why it was all locked at noon on a Sunday. We checked in and got seated and some in our party ordered Bloody Mary’s. Maybe 10 minutes later our server informed us that they had no Bloody Mary mix and thus no Bloody Mary’s and now it all seemed like a joke with the doors all locked when we arrived to now no Bloody Mary mix at a restaurant that’s known for Vodka and it is Sunday brunch? Food arrived and I had the fish & chips with the jalapeno slaw and it was a solid 10. The food is still very good but my experience getting in and lack of a simple ingredient that should be well stocked was disappointing and zero feedback from anyone employed by Ventana may be a deal breaker to come back.
