  Ive never seen unhappier employees. Your manager doesnt listen and scolds you guys with an attitude we used to stone people for. But hey, its McDonalds. Food is good.

  I come to this McDonald’s on West Valley Parkway in Escondido almost every single day on my lunch break. I order one burger. That’s it. No fries, no drink, no modifications just a plain, simple cheese burger. And somehow, without fail, I am standing around waiting for over 20 minutes every single time. Twenty-plus minutes for ONE burger at a fast food restaurant. Let that sink in. My entire lunch break is only 30 minutes. By the time I finally get my food, I have to inhale it in the car like an animal just to make it back to work on time. That is not a lunch break, that is a stress test. I shouldn’t have to choose between eating and being late because this location can’t figure out how to get a single burger into a bag. I’ve given this place chance after chance after chance, day after day, hoping it was just a bad shift or an off day. It’s not. This is a pattern. It doesn’t matter what time I come in, what crew is working, or how empty the lobby is. the result is always the same. A painfully long wait for the most basic item on the menu. There is zero sense of urgency from the staff. No apology, no acknowledgment that I’ve been standing there watching other people who ordered after me get their food first. Just complete indifference. This is supposed to be FAST food. If I wanted to wait 20 minutes for a burger, I’d go sit down at an actual restaurant and at least get something worth the wait. I’m done wasting my lunch breaks here.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s today. I went through the drive-thru and ordered two Happy Meals and a #6 meal. When ordering, I asked if I could get ranch, barbecue sauce, and ketchup. I didn’t specify an exact number because usually they include at least two sauces with each meal. When I got to the window, I asked the employee if the sauces were inside the bag, and the manager told me yes. However, when I opened one of the Happy Meals, there was only one ranch and no barbecue sauce. I politely told her that the barbecue sauce wasn’t there, but she insisted that she had put it in the bag. When I tried explaining that it really wasn’t there because I had just opened my child’s Happy Meal, she rolled her eyes at me and said that if I wanted more sauces, I would have to pay for them. I explained that I had ordered two kids’ meals, and sauces normally come with them, but instead of helping, she became very rude. She then accused me of “screaming” at her, which I was not doing, and shut the drive-thru window in my face. I was shocked by the attitude and lack of customer service over something as small as sauce. Because of how disrespectful the situation became, I returned my entire order and asked for a refund, even though my little one had already started eating. It’s unbelievable that the manager would lose a whole order and upset a customer over a couple of sauces. Very disappointing experience. Customer service should be much better than this
