My husband and I ordered our favorite Peruvian dishes and they honestly were so disappointing. The Lomo Saltado he got was dry, no sauce. The friend we were with ordered it as well and said the same thing. I could tell it looked on the dry side with no pool of flavorful sauce in the bottom of the dish. My husband did say the meat was good. He asked for a salad instead of the rice but they brought rice with his meal and had to come back later with the salad, which he said was actually really good tasting (salad). I ordered the Aji De Gallina. The sauce was more watery than creamy. There was no potato with it like I've gotten when ordering in the past. The whole flavor was off to me and it was just not enjoyable to eat. But I wasn't going to send it back to the kitchen since we had waited awhile for our food. The waiter was friendly, busy with us outside sitting customers but never left us a pitcher of water or came to refill our cups even once. The price felt overly expensive for the amount of food. Basically $50 for 2 & it just wasn't great. For my first time coming here, I have no desire to come back. Other things to note, the bathroom was clean. There are some Peruvian items on shelves inside for sale, that was fun to look at.

The food was excellent. We select a kind of tapas to taste different things. Yuca frita with aji sauce, patacones, Don Cucho (fish ceviche), empanadas ;), and to finish a tamal. The flavors were outstanding. Very different than usual Mexican food and not so hot spicy. They make an extraordinary sauce with aji, Panga sauce, is not hot at all, but the flavor is outstanding. Service os excellent. Also, the music is lovely.

Great place! Good flavors. Service was attentive and top notch! The lamb and sangria and arepas and plaintains - all delish. Always consistent. A great neighborhood spot.

We tried to have lunch there today. The indoor area was hot with no AC, fans or air circulation. They have a few tables outside and we tried to find one with the most shade as it was hot and sunny. The waiters were unaccomodating and borderline rude. The menu had limitted options and the place did not feel comfortable or welcoming. So we decided to leave and find something else after leaving a small tip for waters we were served. The food here might be good but unfortuanely we did not try it.
