  While using the self check-out, the middle aged male employee over there named Brion or something was being really rude and telling my mom that she wasn't listening to the machine and giving her attitude when we were trying to buy cherries. We didn’t even ask for help but before this even happened he also interfered with the machine when it asked about satisfactory service and clicked all the satisfactory options for us when the service wasn't satisfactory. I think he was having a bad day because he also went to another customer and was sighing and everything while saying that it was gonna make him drink a lot tonight. I hope he has a better day, but as a customer buying groceries, it left a bad experience because of his bad service.

  Every Safeway I go to, doesn’t matter what time of day, I wait in line for 15-20+ minutes because only one register is open

  I have a pick up order today evening the lady works at pick up side was using bad words the have to give her some behavior training how should she take with customers I will never ever come again at any store

  We placed an order today that a Door Dash driver stole. This Safeway normally gives horrible customer service, but nowadays all these grocery stores do. But today they made sure our order was re-delivered in full. Nobody ever re-delivers an order, nobody. But Safeway did today. They went above and beyond. You gotta reward exceptional service with good reviews to keep getting exceptional service so Safeway, today take your five stars! You are appreciated. Please make this the new normal.

  I was at the food court area ordering the chicken tenders. There’s a lady there with no name tag, heavy set, she has a mole under her eye, tattoo behind her ear. She always looks miserable. Now this is my 2nd time coming here at this location. Both times this lady seems to have an attitude with me and only me. And it’s only her, all the others working there at the food court have been respectful to me. Last time, she tells me with an attitude I would have to wait 20 minutes until the food was done. I didn’t mind waiting but her attitude and tone of voice was rude. Then after 20 minutes she tells me I have to wait another 20 minutes. I notice she was nice to the other races and ethnicities (I am a black woman) and speaking and laughing with them. When it was done she hands it to me with an attitude and walks off. Now today, I see her glaring at me. I was in line. She was asking down the line “are you here to buy fried chicken”. When she gets to me, she sees me and skips over me and asks the white male standing behind me. I feel like she was being passive aggressive once again. I go up to the counter and tell her “I would like the tender chicken” she mean mugs me with a smug look and rude tone and says “nope, we don’t have any right now” and walks off. I then hear another person working there tell a customer “the tender chicken will be done in 3 minutes”. So why couldn’t she tell me that? There was an another black woman standing in line. She asked her (the one with attitude) for when something will be ready and she tells her “32 minutes”. The customer responds back “32 minutes?” And the rude employee responses back with “there’s some cold ones over there, take it home and heat it up yourself!” And walks off with an attitude and glares at the customer from afar. While I was waiting she was glaring at me from far away as well with a mean mug. I have been shopping here for YEARS and have never experienced this before with other employees. I think her behavior is unprofessional and immature. She is not wearing a name tag so I can only describe her as heavyset, mole under her eye, older lady, a faded tattoo behind her ear that looked like a line with two small lines going across it. I feel like she has something against black woman and is subliminally targeting me because I am a black woman. This will be my last time ever shopping at a Safeway until I know something is done about this person’s behavior and I will be reporting her for discrimination.
