    I’ve used the Order Ahead option at this Dutch Bros three times now, and all three times my drink was not ready when I arrived. The app gives an estimated pickup time of around five minutes, and I purposely waited about 15 minutes before arriving. Each time, my order still had not been made. The whole point of ordering ahead is convenience and avoiding the extremely long line. If I still have to arrive and wait for my drink to be made, there really isn’t much benefit to using Order Ahead. My most recent visit was especially disappointing. After this happening for the third time, I asked to speak with the manager. The person I spoke with said she was the manager, but instead of acknowledging the repeated issue or trying to understand my frustration, she was very dismissive. Her solution was simply to offer to make my drink right then. While I appreciate the offer, that completely misses the point—I had already ordered ahead and waited well beyond the estimated pickup time. I understand that things get busy and delays happen, but three consecutive times is a pattern, and the manager’s response made the experience worse. If Dutch Bros is going to offer Order Ahead as a way to save customers time, the process needs to actually work as intended, and concerns should be handled with better customer service.
