- JHJuliet Hauck5 days ago3.0Bought two butternut squash from your store with the red label, organic. Both were bad. They were hollow up to the stem. I did taste the meat I it to see if it could be used and it was sour. Called your store there they bring it back and they could do an exchange. Went to the self checkout, brought in the labels and had a copy of the receipt on my phone. The self checkout said to just not charge myself for them. I had already had the checker help me with a 50%,,off coupon that had to be approved and used that opportunity to discuss the butternut squash exchange. Now I was right next to him so I told him that the register wouldn't let me proceed bc he didn't want to charge me and then the item off my receipt so here I am asking him to fix it and he told me he had, 60 other customers he had to help too". He did help me right away but he was NOT kind. I do not like having to call and complain about produce. I do not like having to ask for help to exchange and item that was bad. I do not think I should eat the cost either. I do not live super close to any grocery store and if I have to drive back out to get new squash for my son's soup who has Crohn's and is on a strict diet, I'm already irritated. Please don't make it worse for me when I have to make an additional trip to replace the item. Please make it easier for your employees to approve such exchanges or coupons etc so I don't get the negative treatment.
