- RPRobert PaulAug 19, 20261.0They bake bread once in the morning, 8am, and once at 4pm. Or at least that's when they put them out.. either way, all bread is hard by 10/11am. No manager after 12(noon). Honestly, a poorly designed parking lot, bad building location, the store's "fresh" ingredients are anything, but... go to Raley's or even the Safeway in Cameron Park is better. Safeway has gone downhill.

They do have some good deals occasionally and what I do enjoy is I’m on a special low city of diet for my household and they have some items other places. Don’t the problem is I go out of my way to either go there or get an Instacart order adding other things to it and it never indicates that the inventory is low or could possibly be out of stock or anything of that nature so I do the order or I go there just to find they are out of stock other things I really want and everything else I could’ve gotten more conveniently or for less Price so I’m really not thrilled with Safeway. I don’t think I’ll be shopping there it’s just not worth it. You need to have a better control of your inventory. You don’t have things in stock every time I’ve tried to order from Instacart or go there even the items beyond what I’m looking for specialty wise you’re out of stock of things so many other stores don’t have this problem.
