  I don’t shop at Safeway because it’s not my most convenient store to my home. They do have some good deals occasionally and what I do enjoy is I’m on a special low city of diet for my household and they have some items other places. Don’t the problem is I go out of my way to either go there or get an Instacart order adding other things to it and it never indicates that the inventory is low or could possibly be out of stock or anything of that nature so I do the order or I go there just to find they are out of stock other things I really want and everything else I could’ve gotten more conveniently or for less Price so I’m really not thrilled with Safeway. I don’t think I’ll be shopping there it’s just not worth it. You need to have a better control of your inventory. You don’t have things in stock every time I’ve tried to order from Instacart or go there even the items beyond what I’m looking for specialty wise you’re out of stock of things so many other stores don’t have this problem.

  Always can find the items needed. The online ordering and pickup service is great. My weekly grocery shopping store.

  Produce molding, shelves are under stocked and in a state of disarray, deli meat gross and assistant could not find expiration dates. Disappointed in Safeway.

  Subject: Formal Complaint – Rude Employee and Refusal to Provide Basic Customer Service I am filing a formal complaint about an employee at Safeway who treated me disrespectfully and failed to provide basic customer service. I visited the store late at night and was the only customer at the register. No employee was present, and I had to call for assistance before someone finally came over. When the employee arrived, he was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to help. After scanning my groceries, the employee refused to bag my items, leaving them loose on the counter. As shown in the attached photo, my groceries were left unbagged despite there being no other customers waiting. The employee’s attitude made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. Customers should not have to search for employees, wait for service when the store is empty, or be treated rudely when asking for basic assistance. This experience was unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service I expect from Safeway. I request that management investigate this incident, speak with the employee involved, and take appropriate corrective action. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this complaint will be addressed. Thank you.

  Although I know the prices everywhere have become high I feel that in my community they are ridiculously high as in 2 to 5 dollars more depending on the items that you’re getting even the Safeway brand is a dollar and a half higher than anywhere else and I live in El Dorado HillsCA
