Let me start by saying that the cashier was really nice and helpful and I've seen a lot of reviews that say otherwise. The employees were fine, but the store was outdated and dingy. I was hoping Del Mar would have an AWESOME Vons, but unfortunately this store needs a complete overhaul and redesign. Im noticing this in a lot of areas so unfortunately I end up shopping elsewhere. Vons used to be my go to, but they do need to revamp a lot of their locations. Everything feels dirty...even if it's not, because of how old everything is and that feels gross when shopping for food.

Had to grab from bottom like a cup and nearly spilled groceries multiple times, and had to make multiple trips from car to house which is kinda far. Furthermore I reuse these. This seems as if: To encourage brining your own bags California law charges for bags, removed plastic, and now yall elected no handles?…to save a penny and inconvenience customers. Do better for your customers. Maybe a different location deserves my business more. Add handles back to your bags and I’ll fix my review
