- JGJim George1 day ago5.0I have been coming to this grocery store for the past 25+ years. Sometimes my items doesn't get rung up correctly. Seems like apples in particular; $2.99 instead of $2.49. Broccoli gets rung up as crowns at a higher price too. Tri tip is good, but man, it has a ton of fat. Talked to a butcher, which he told me he can trim the fat, but the price will be the same. I get this, but dayum...it is a lot of fat. One will argue that people like the extra fat. No, they don't. Seems like fat makes money for them. And one of the cashiers has a most sour disposition. Why 5 stars??? The price is reasonable, most of the staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is well kept. I don't get bent if something is a little off. If I have an issue with pricing, the cashier fixes it immediately, no questions. And the cashier that has a bad attitude? Everybody cannot be all sunshine and rainbows all the time. Heck it is probably me, not her! Great neighborhood store which I hope to shop here till I die.

Always clean and well-staffed, but that doesn't help if I don't want to buy anything because it's too expensive and the store doesn't carry what I want. They aren't even your best option for brand-name packaged goods.
- ARAngel RiosApr 20, 20261.0I go to safe way all the time no issues whatsoever until yesterday i went to get some pack of donuts in the morning and i take a bite from a donut I’m chewing then i look down with a funny taste in my mouth the donut had mold ALL inside and the donuts were expired since DECEMBER OF 2025 i am PISSED because how is it that you guys forget about these moldy donuts being sold straight from your shelves for several months.

As someone who likes to plan my shopping list in advance, they do an excellent job of keeping their inventory up to date. I do both in-store shopping and online pick-up and both are always a pleasant experience. I did recently have an issue with their deli department, but after following up with management, I felt like my concern was heard and the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. That shows me that the team cares. Besides, the deli is separate from the main grocery store experience. If you are going in-person, don’t forget to look for the manager specials. You won’t find these online and are often the best deals.
