This was my first time at this place. The staff was friendly and reacted promptly to your request. The food was Good 👍🏾. I just wasn't to fond about how the food was weighed. You get very little food for the amount charged. The severing plate were Extremely Heavy by itself, I hope that the tare weigh is deducted when weighing 😒. Overall not bad.

A very basic salad bar with a half dozen bad meats at the end. The steak was somehow red, tough, and unseasoned. The bacon wrapped chicken was so dry it crumbled when I cut it. The pudding had a bunch of unthickened liquid at the bottom. A basic buffet is cheaper and - hard to believe - better.

I’ve been coming to Pampas Grill almost every week, so this experience was especially disappointing. I had a plate with salad and some meat, and the worker wearing glasses charged the entire weight of my plate at the full BBQ meat price. What bothered me most was that he never explained beforehand that my salad would also be weighed and charged at the meat rate. I was expecting the salad and meat to be charged according to their respective pricing. When I noticed the charge and asked about it, instead of simply acknowledging that this should have been explained before ringing me up, he became argumentative and started giving me all the reasons for the charge after the fact. That explanation should have happened before I paid, especially when there are different prices involved. As a regular customer, I felt disrespected by the way the situation was handled. customers deserve transparency before they are charged. A simple explanation beforehand would have avoided the entire issue. Very disappointing customer service from a place I’ve supported regularly.

This has been a consistent favorite for many years. However tonight, and during a previous visit, both kinds of chicken I ordered were overcooked to the point of being very, very dry. Since the BBQ meats are the reason I (and, I expect, most people) come here, this is a big disappointment when it happens more than once. 2. A second point is a small one, but my friends and I have a strong negative reaction to it: this is not a cheap place to eat; my typical bill for 2 is around $70. So, when they start adding 3% for credit cards, I thinks that's just plain BS, trying to re-label that a 'just recapturing what they have to pay.' They also have to pay due salaries. And electric. And meat. And insurance. THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS TO BE IN BUSINESS. IT'S INCLUDING IN THE PRICES. And, EVERYONE USES CREDIT CARDS. THEY ARE NOT A NEW INVENTION. Even the mosquitoes used them to pay their way on Noah's Arc. This restaurant, and agazillion others, have had to pay such fees to credit card companies for around 10,000 years. I think I read about it in Genesis, in the Bible, where it says "In the beginning, there were late fees..." So nothing is new except that they are charging extra for it... in effect a 'disguised' price increase. JUST BUILD IT INTO THE $%&# PRICE, and stop nickel-diming us with junk fees. What's next, "clean plate fees"? Silverware Rental fee? The amount is small. They have rising meat and other costs. I get it. But they have no problem directly raising the price of the menu items, which is clear, so this is just a small price increase, around $1/person, aside from their explicit increase, pretending to be something else, and i think that's just sleazy.😡 3. Like many restaurants, they started trying to gaslight customers into paying "a tip" FOR TOTAL SELF SERVICE! HUH? Tip who, for what? JUST PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPANY ON THE PLANET. THEY'RE ARE NO WAITERS. THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL SERVICE. JUST ANOTHER DISGUISED PRICE INCREASE, as many people are too embarrassed to hunt around on the card payment keyboard for a way to avoid tipping. YEAH, YA GOTTA SEARCH FOR IT! WITH THE EMPLOYEE STARING AT YOU 12" FROM YOUR NOSE. AND A LOUNGE OF PEOPLE WAITING BEHIND YOU. You can choose 25% 22% 20%... BUT WHERE IS "NO TIP"??? Oh, you have to tap "other" since there is no option to tap zero or none. THEN, you ALSO have to carefully tap in "0"- careful not to tap "10", and THEN tap enter. So, 1 tap to choose 20%, and done, Or THREE TAPS TO TIP ZERO. I HATE IT. EVERYONE I KNOW HATES IT. THIS SURVIVING VERSION IS THE WORST OF THEM SINCE YOU HAVE TO HUNT AROUND FOR HOW TO AVOID PAYING A TO TIP FOR FULL SELF SERVICE. WHAT'S NEXT, TIP AN ATM MACHINE???😡😡😡 JUST PAY YOUR STAFF. RAISE YOUR PRICE OF YOU WANT IR NEED TO. JUST STOP S CREWING AROUND WITH ALL THIS CR$P and concentrate on the food.
