Pietro & Juanita Avolio dreamt of one day owning their own restaurant where they would be able to share their homemade recipes with the community. Pietro spent much of his time growing up in Pacentro, Italy learning various recipes from his mother and sisters. When they found their way to Covina, he continued to spend countless hours perfecting those homemade sauces, noodles and breads. - ELEric Lane1 day ago5.0Old School BOMB. My Italian wife says it's like the food she ate growing up in the late 50s her father was pure Italian. My father was from Jersey. The north end of Boston is one of the main reasons I'm fat. SO AUTHENTIC and very very good. A trip to Nona's house get in here and have some. A+ A rare authentic experience! you just can't find anymore.
